Up-To-Date Frugal/Simple Living Books?

Post by Happychoice »

Jackie's mention in check-in about going through her books to see if there were any new/old frugal tips reminded me to look at our library's site to see if it contained any more up-to-date books.... by utd, I was thinking the past couple of yrs as what I had looked at prior was dated around the time of the recession in 2008. I found one entitled

"Slow - Simple Living for a Frantic World, author Brooke McAlary.

I've put it on hold and it's popular right now. I'm 11 in line on 1 copy.

Anyone else find a new one?

Have you read “Living Well, Spending Less” by Ruth Soucup? Geared more to young families but still lots of helpful information. She also has a blog.

Thank you Mrs Creative. I have located the blog to read and although the hard copy of the book is not available at the library, it is on audio. I've requested it and I'm looking forward to it.
