This came up on my newsfeed via FB this morning and since it was written by someone who resides in my province and who is an alumni of my university I thought I would give it a read.

Thanks Jackie - i scanned the article
Makes some good points. I was thinking about something like this after spending time with people that spend and then are upset because they are "in the red'

Good tips. I just wonder if the intended audience is made up of people who stop and actually read the article or read anything at all!
I personally liked the idea of thinking of all the times that I bought x and never wore it before I make the purchase.

Re: How To Stop Spending
I'm really trying to stop unnecessary spending
Thought about going to go get a haircut but nope - looks good
Thought about the pedicure - nope - toes look good
I just keep replaying the things people tell me about their mindless shopping while they try to save money - does that compute?
