Good morning all,

Last night in my dreams, I cooked a big Thanksgiving dinner had to use 2 stoves and everyone, including deceased brothers and parents was there. Great dream!

Today is overcast but warm. I have stuff to do inside and will make the leftover pot roast into veggie soup for the grands...they have been asking for it and seriously could eat it in the hottest weather and it wouldn't phase them.

I also want to make some muffins, something to have with my mid-afternoon cup of coffee for a pick me up. I am thinking strawberry-rhubarb bread recipe baked as muffins. I also need to bake bread,#1 son in law can eat a loaf by himself. LOL

Had chinese food last night, 2 dinners fed 5 of us with leftovers, I had egg rolls .

Off to get this day started.
Hoping to hear from Gayle and LittleMiss.

Good mornnig all

Did not go walking this morning. I decided to take the day off

I still got up early to take the pack outside. They are so good. Right now they are all asleep again

Will go to the usual breakfast. See what happens there.

Have to mail a check to another sibling for the lawyer that is taking care of the house thing.

Not sure what I will do today

I saw the nurse practitioner this morning. I am still having problems I asked about trying sudafed. He agreed for 2 days. If that doesn’t help I need to call ear specialist. I will see how I am on
and then if needed make that call.

My daughter took me we then went to H-E-B so I could get some Sudafed. I asked her if we could drive through McDonalds she did and I picked up 2 Egg McMuffins. I had one for lunch with fruit. I will have the second one for supper or tomorrows breakfast.

Hello friends,

I slept good last night, good for me anyhow, though aided by two 5mg-melatonin gummies. I even dreamed, which is rare for me anymore.

I updated in my Biopsy post (renamed it again by adding cancer to the title) all the useful bits from yesterday.

I have talked to two different Dr offices this morning, did learn something useful from one of them.

Am in town at the library currently, free wifi, then will go food shopping when I leave here. I need to go put $$ down on children's lunch accounts.

Will take puppies for a short walk before the heat rises, it's as much for me as for them. Stress is really packing weight onto my midsection, strange that as I’m eating less.

It's sunny & promises to be low 90’s here. Yesterday in SLC temp was 100 degrees when we left Huntsman at 4pm.

Jackie’s post got me wanting chili, so will put black beans on to cook when I get home, and will make GF cornbread.

Today I’m thankful to know more today than I did yesterday; I’m feeling considerably less frustrated now than last night.

Just a short update:

Gayle, the stress you are under causes cortisol to cause you to gain especially around the middle for women. I know it is easy to say but try not to stress (saying to myself also)

Veggie/beef soup is deluxe! Instead of strawberry/rhubarb muffins I made apple/rhubarb muffins. I opened the fridge and saw 2 packages of apple slices that DD had brought home, leftovers from an "office do" so I used them up. Muffins are good!

I still have a few things to tidy up and then rest and reading this evening.

Greetings Friends,

I stayed home from work today. I am SICK (but I will use "vacation time" instead of "sick leave" because my extra sick leave gets paid out in October) - had a fever of 101.7 at 11:30 last night. They tossed me out of work early yesterday. I think I will go back tomorrow...ugh. The work is piling up!!!

I had a couple of tiny naps today, puttered around the house - HAD to get out finally so came to the library a couple of hours ago. Sitting at an outside table so as not to get near people in case I am contagious.

Am hoping for a good night's sleep tonight - last night was rough. I haven't been this sick in forever.
