Fridays already have a lot going for them, but now there’s even more to like. Here’s the scoop on how you can score three full-size freebies each and every Friday:

  • Kroger (and all of its affiliate stores – Ralphs, Dillons, King Snoopers, Smith’s and the list goes on – off a new Friday Freebie each week. It might be chips one week and granola bars the next, but it’s always something that’s worth going after. To get in on the action, create a free account on your store’s website (kroger.com, in my case). Then, log in each Friday, and load the digital coupon onto your store card. You don’t have to redeem your coupon on Friday, but you will need to grab the item before the expiration date noted on the coupon. To redeem, simply pick up the item specified in the offer, and have your shopper’s card scanned at the register. It will automatically deduct the purchase price of the item, making it free
  • SavingStar also does a grocery freebie each Friday. They’ve given away free pasta, beans, dish soap, candy and more. To claim your freebie each week, go to SavingStar.com to sign up for a free account (if you haven’t already). Then, log in each Friday to activate the coupon. They only give you a few days to redeem the offer, so you’ll need to get to the store soon after. Just scan your card at the register (or submit via their app), and your SavingStar account will be credited with the amount that you paid for the item
  • Kmart just joined in on the Friday Freebie action. This week Shop Your Way rewards members get a free roll of paper towels. Can’t wait to see what next week’s offer will be

Know of another Friday Freebie? I’d love to hear the details.

  1. We don’t have Krogers or even Kmart nearby, but I try to get the Saving Star Friday freebies every week. But instead of putting the money from my account back into groceries, I have been saving it for college expenses which are now right around the corner!
