Granola is outrageously expensive to buy, but so easy to make. Here’s my tasty, no-junk recipe for homemade granola.
Homemade Granola Recipe
Cook Time:
40 minutes
Ingredients:
2 cups oats
1 cup shredded coconut
1 cup nuts (almonds, pecans, etc.)
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup vegetable oil
2 cups dried fruit (raisins, cranberries, chopped apricots, etc.)
What You Do:
Combine the oats, coconut and nuts in a large bowl.
In a separate bowl, whisk the honey and oil together.
Pour the honey-oil mixture over the dry mixture, and stir to combine.
Transfer to a baking sheet, and bake at 325 degrees for 40 minutes. Stir every 10-15 minutes to prevent burning.
Stir in the fruit, and allow it to cool. Store in an airtight container.
Enjoy with milk, over top of yogurt or just by the handful.

Thank you…my son JUST asked me to get some granola, but with his allergies it is hard to accomodate, but yours is JUST the ticket;)
Yay! I’m so glad. Hope he enjoys it as much as my daughters do. My oldest likes to pack it for lunch. She sprinkles it on top of yogurt.
I have everything but the coconut. Making it as soon as I get that. Both guys and my husband keeps asking for snacks. Thank you.
