Ingredients:
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 cup cocoa powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tsp corn starch
- 1 cup dehydrated marshmallows (optional)
Instructions:
Mix well to combine.
To use: Stir two tablespoons of hot cocoa mix into one cup of milk (not water). Heat in the microwave or on the stove. (see notes to learn how to make this recipe dairy-free).
To make a big batch of cocoa: use two cups of cocoa mix for every gallon of milk.
Notes
This cocoa mix doesn’t contain powdered milk, so it’s cheaper to make, and can be enjoyed by people with milk allergies or sensitivities. Just swap a cup of your favorite milk substitute (soy, almond, etc.) for the cup of milk called for.
