Whip up a batch of taco bowls for tostadas or taco salads. They’re really easy to make, and take less than 15 minutes.
How to Make Taco Bowls
Cook Time:
10-12 minutes
Ingredients:
Corn tortillas
Cooking oil
Salt
What You Do:
Place a damp paper towel over a stack of tortillas, and heat in the microwave for 30 seconds. This will soften the tortillas, so that they’re more flexible.
Brush both sides of the tortillas with oil, and lightly salt.
Then, flip a muffin tin over, and fit the tortillas into the spaces between the cups. If you have a 12-cup muffin pan, you can make six taco bowls at a time.
Bake at 375 for 10-12 minutes, or until your taco bowls are crispy. Then, fill them with beans, meat, veggies, salsa, sour cream and cheese.
Tips:
- Make a batch of crockpot refried beans to stick in your taco bowls
- Sprinkle the tortillas with sugar and cinnamon (instead of salt) to create ice cream bowls
