Mulled Cider Recipe

Mulled cider is a delicious cold weather treat, and very easy to make. Skip those expensive mulled cider mixes that you see at the store because you just don’t need them.
Mulled Cider Recipe
Cook Time:
15-30 minutes
Ingredients:
2 quarts apple juice
2 cinnamon sticks
8 whole allspice berries
8 whole cloves
What You Do:
Combine all of the ingredients in a sauce pan or crockpot, and simmer over low heat. Scoop out the spices before serving.
Optional Add-Ins:
Orange or lemon slices, ginger, peppercorns
Want to give mulled cider mix as a gift? Just wrap all the spices up in a piece of cheesecloth or a spice bag; and tuck them inside a mug, along with a copy of the recipe.

Use your crockpot to make a batch of mulled cider. You just need apple juice and a few basic spices.
