Like to garden? Enjoy growing new things? Then, please join us for the first annual My Frugal Home Seed Swap! This promises to be lots of fun.

Here’s How It Works:

Sign up for the seed swap by February 28. (You’ll need to create a free account on Elfster.com, if you don’t already have one).

After registration closes, I’ll draw names, and you’ll receive an email with the name and address of the person you got. Your information will not be shared with anyone else.

You’ll then send four (or more) packets of your favorite seeds to the person you drew. These can be store-bought, or seeds that you collected from your garden. Flower, vegetable and herb seeds are all okay. Just make sure your seeds are labeled, and include planting and growing instructions. Please try to get your seeds in the mail by March 15, so there will be plenty of time to plant them. Once names are drawn you’ll be able to send anonymous questions to the person you got, so if you want to ask them what garden zone they’re in, you can do that. This seed swap is open to all MFH readers and forum members who live in the U.S. or Canada.

For this to be fun for everyone, please follow through, if you sign up; and try to get your seeds in the mail quickly.

Since we often only know each other by our forum member names/the user names that we use to comment on the blog, feel free to include that in the notes section when you sign up. You can note your garden zone there too, if you’d like.
