- 1 can (14/15 oz.) crushed tomatoes (or half of a 28 oz. can)
- 1 can (6 oz.) tomato paste
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp dried oregano
- 1/4 tsp dried basil
- Salt to taste (optional)
Stir all the ingredients together, in a bowl. Then, use or refrigerate.
This recipe makes approximately 2-3/4 cup of pizza sauce, which is enough sauce for 3-4 large pizzas.
- Freeze any leftover pizza sauce for next time.
- Trying to avoid sugar or salt for dietary reasons? Just leave them out.
