Canning season is upon us! If you have plans to fill your pantry with all manner of home-canned jams, jellies, sauces, fruits and vegetables, this printable canning inventory list is just the thing to help you keep up with all your homemade goodies.
Just list each item that you canned. Then, use the jars to indicate quantities. There’s even a spot to check the size of the jars that you used. This will make it easy to see what you have on hand, so you can plan meals around your canned goods.
It’ll also make it easy to see which recipes were a hit with your family and which weren’t, as well as help you to identify instances where you may have canned too much or too little. That’s all valuable information that you can use to fine-tune your canning game plan for next year.
I make a single diagonal line through the jars to indicate how much I made. Then, I turn those lines into “X”s as I use things up. If you’re a mega canner, just use more than one row for each item, or make each jar represent a larger quantity, say five jars or a dozen. There’s plenty of room to adapt this canning inventory list to suit your needs.

I just stumbled across your site and it made my day! I wanted to print cute labels to hang around my mason jars during the year for things like extra soup when I want to save some for later. I’m so happy I found your site. I saved it to my favorites. I am excited to check it out more thoroughly later today. 🙂
I have been looking for a Canning Food pantry list and this one fits just fine.
Exactly what I need to be better able to keep track of all my foods that I can, and I figure I can adapt it to my store bought foods too.
Thanks for the great list.
