  1. I love this design. Could you possibly add a page just like the cover but where you can add two lines of text in the center, this would be for divider pages. Thanks!

    1. I also love this design and would like to be able to have two lines in the center. Is there any way that you can do this design in additional colors?

      1. Hi Beth,
I can definitely add additional colors. Let me give some thought to the second line of text.

      2. Hi Beth,

The cover is now fully editable, so you can have two lines of text. I’ve also added dividers and tabs.

  2. This WAS VERY THOUGHTFUL OF YOU Erin. I love and use mine all the time. Not only do you give these to us for free but you think of helping by helping us to economize on ink. Thank you so much for all you do for us.

  3. Hi, I love the teal color and wonder if the label might be able to read Desserts from Barbara’s Kitchen instead of what is there. I have a MacProBook and the text cannot be changed hitting Ctr. and E

    1. Hi Barbara,

The label is fully editable, so you can definitely change it to whatever you’d like. I haven’t tested it on a Mac (it’ll probably be Monday before I can do that), but in the meantime, you may want to try it in another browser to see if that works for you.

  4. I TOO AM LOOKING FOR THE RECIPE TEMPLATE SO I CAN SIMPLY TYPE, PRINT AND COMBINE MY BOOK. THIS WILL BE A WEDDING GIFT FOR MY DAUGHTER. THE TEAL IS PERFECT AS THIS IS HER COLOR. THANK YOU

  5. I am researching the family geneaology and collecting family recipes – your recipe book templates are a perfect solution to assist in managing this part of my project. Erin, your site awesome! Keep up the great work.

  6. Is there anyway to insert a picture into the recipe cards? I’ve tried but haven’t been able to do so. You have awesome ideas.

    Thanks.

    1. Hi Sherronne,

Unfortunately, there isn’t. I suppose you could always cut out a picture and glue it to the card afterwards. I can’t think of any other way to do it.

  7. Attempting to input to a recipe card. Can see the card PDF, but can’t input any information. Running Windows 10.

    Thanks for great site.

  10. I like this template very much. Can it be saved and used to send to a printer for more professional results?
    Thanks.
    Tim

    1. Yep. If you open it with Adobe Reader. You should be able to save it with all of your edits. Then, just send that file on to the printer.

      1. I got these templates working, and they are perfect! Thanks for putting all of this together. Your website is great! One question: I have our family cookbook almost put together. I want to send it off somewhere to print, but not 8.5 X 11, probably smaller. Any ideas where / how I can have smaller versions printed at a reasonable cost?

  11. Erin, Thank you so much for providing these simple yet beautiful customizable printables for free. I was looking endlessly until I found your site. Just perfect. God Bless.

    1. You’re very welcome. I love to hear that my printable recipe book worked well for your needs. I just gave one as a bridal shower gift yesterday 🙂

  12. Hello! I’m loving these! Can you please tell me the font you used for the divider inserts and tabs? I have just one that I’d like to add “Crockpot” and I’d like to keep it unified. Thanks so much for sharing this with us.

    1. Yep. One of the fonts used for the tabs is Helvetica with an extra space between each letter. The font used for the dividers is Times New Roman italicized. As long as you have those fonts on your computer (and they’re so basic I’m sure you do), they should automatically load for you when you open the editable files. Just hit Crtl + E in Adobe Reader to bring up the editing options — font, font size, etc.

    1. I don’t. It’s an interesting idea, though. I’ll have to give it some thought. I’m just wondering how that would work. My recipe book is constantly evolving, so the page numbers in my table of contents would always be changing.

    1. Hi Mary,

That yellow box won’t show up when you print your cover. It’s just there to offer some help while you’re filling out your cover. I just did a test print to make sure that was still the case 🙂

  13. I just stumble onto your website and love all of your printables. They are so handy! Thank you for your generosity in giving them to all of us.

  14. Thank you for all the printables ! I have been looking everywhere for the customizable bill pay sheets . They printed off with no problem. I have already started using them . I also love the recipe book covers and will be great to use for family recipes to pass down to my daughter.

  15. Thank you for the fun recipe book cover and dividers! I am collecting family recipes from my married kids and will be making a recipe book for each of the families for Christmas. I am not very good at making cute covers, so I really appreciate being able to have ready-made ones available.
